Here are some suggestions based on customer feedback:

Customer concern: My baby girl yells and screams when she has a bath. She is normally a sweet baby that laughs, coos, and smiles all the time. I wonder if she may have an allergy to the soap I am using for her bath. I notice her skin is red after her bath. What soap would you recommend that I try?

Suggested soap: We suggest you try using our Goat Milk Soap. Another good choice would be

Rita’s Castile Soap, our version of the classic Castile soap which is very mild.

Customer question: My daughter has what I call “high school acne”. Her brother always had picture perfect skin. I am heartbroken to see my daughter suffer the embarrassment caused by her acne. Which soaps have your customers reported to be effective for acne?

Suggested soap: More of our customers have mentioned using Lemon Balm Soap and Strawberry Soap for acne than any of our other soaps.

Customer question: I am looking for a gentle soap without fragrance and which is not grainy to remove my makeup and dead skin. I want a soap that is not drying. Which soap should I buy?

Suggested soap: Our customers brag on our Oatmeal Soap as being an excellent exfoliant and so gentle that they use it every night. Our Oatmeal Soap is one of our most popular soaps among both men and women.

This is a review from a customer that uses Oatmeal Soap to remove makeup:

Your Oatmeal Soap is wonderful!!! I wash my face with it at night and it removes all my makeup while leaving my skin feeling so clean and so moist that I do not need to add cream or lotion. Customer suggestion:  Several of our friends and customers have asked us to make Shea Butter Soap. They were looking for the Shea Butter Soap for their dry skin.

We use Olive, Coconut, Palm, and Grapeseed oils in our base oil along with a small amount of Castor Oil and Vitamin E. We extract the essence of herbs into the olive and grapeseed oils which is used in all of our soaps and oils.  We also use Sodium Hydroxide (lye) and filtered water. For our goat milk soap, we use 100% goat milk instead of water in the lye mixture. We calculate the amount of lye we use so that there is a little extra oil in the soap mixture that is not converted to soap. This ensures that there is no lye remaining in any of our soaps after saponification.

 The only animal products in our soaps are goat milk in our Goat Milk Soap; milk in our Peaches and Cream Soap; and honey in our Honey Soap.

We do not use fragrances, essential oils, or coloring in any of our products. 

We sell our soap in two sizes: our regular size bar is approximately three inches by two inches and one inch thick and bar weights at least 3 ounces (and some weigh more than that). Our large bars are wider and deeper and each bar weights at least 5 ounces, some more than that). Soaps lose about 10% of their weight during the curing process (evaporation of moisture from the soap). We weigh our soaps after curing.

With all the recommendations for frequent hand washing as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, we have created a special child size bars of soap. The ingredients are the same as in our other bars of soap, but the bars weigh between one and a half ounces and three ounces, just right for a child’s personal bar of soap. We may, or may not, continue to make this size bar once the pandemic is over.

Several factors determine how long soap lasts. The soap lasts longer if it is placed in a soap dish with air circulation all around when it is not in use. If the soap is kept away from the moisture when not in use it simply lasts longer. Another factor that determines how long a bar of soap lasts is how much of the soap is used when bathing. Do you take a long shower or bath and lather yourself several times when bathing? Our soaps are so wonderful and enjoyable that lots of our customers spend more time in the shower than usual simply because they enjoy the soap so much.

Absolutely. The soap is gentle when used instead of a shampoo and the hair is left soft. Please see the testimonial from Rebie on her use of the soap instead of shampoo on her hair.

We do not ship COD. 

We routinely ship orders for delivery in the US by the US Postal Service using Priority Mail, flat rate which provides a tracking number. The charge for shipping orders totaling less than $50 to a single US address is $8.40. All orders totaling over $50.00 for delivery to a single US address ships free. Orders are shipped the next business day after receipt. We are pleased to ship overseas. Please contact us with the size of your order and we will email you with the shipping costs.
